Graphic Design Internship

Feynman Group is searching for a talented and motivated graphic design intern. Duties include generating and editing images for websites, social media outlets, and more for Feynman Group internally as well as for clients in a variety of industries. Designer must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite. We can provide software for you to use as well as a Windows laptop, however you are welcome to use your own equipment. The ideal intern must have strong creative skills and must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow directions.

This opportunity will be part-time, requiring 10 – 15 hours per week and we are flexible. Our intern will be required to have a presence in our Eugene office, however partially working from home is an option. Pay is DOE. We are looking to hire immediately.

Network Technician II

Location: Eugene, OR

Job Description
Feynman Group is looking for an experienced Network Technician to join one of western Oregon’s premier network teams. We are looking for someone with a proven work record of technical growth, superb customer service, meticulous documentation, and excellent problem solving skills. You will have the chance to work in hundreds of different networks of varying sizes and complexities, learn from some of the brightest minds, and be exposed to cutting edge technologies in a fast-paced team environment.
Primary Duties
•    Setup, configure and install servers, networks and workstations
•    Diagnose, isolate, and resolve hardware and software issues over the phone and onsite
•    Setup and perform maintenance on internets, routers, switches and firewalls
•    Provide telephone, remote support, and onsite support, as needed
•    Create and document ticket status, update tickets with resolutions
•    Discuss and present technical information to management and clients in an organized, professional manner
•    Conduct some evening server work and weekend network installs
•    Perform occasional monthly after hours on-call rotations

Qualifications
Required
•    Two or more years of experience in Microsoft Windows workstation troubleshooting, including hardware, software and Windows operating systems
•    One or more year of experience operating and troubleshooting networks, including switches, firewalls and ISR (Cisco environments preferred)
•    Strong understanding of DNS and DHCP in complex networking environments
•    Driver’s license, vehicle and two years of clean driving history

Preferred
•    Familiarity and experience with VOIP; design, maintenance and operations (Cisco environments preferred)
•    Hands-on experience developing, maintaining policies, rights/security, for Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 environments
•    Experience with supporting VMware Technologies - vCenter, ESXi, and vSphere

Sales Associate

Test Lead

Location: Position can be located at either the Eugene, OR or Portland, OR office
Compensation: Based on Experience


Feynman Group is seeking an experienced software Test Lead to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality assurance and testing of large software development projects throughout the software life cycle. The Test Lead will be an integral part of a cross-functional project team, working with other team members to conduct testing and implement strong testing frameworks and processes that consistently deliver high quality software, at high velocity, for our clients.

Primary Duties
•    Test various software applications including web-based, mobile and client/server
•    Prepare and execute both manual and automated test cases, indicate needed fixes and document results
•    Utilize ticket tracking systems and specialized testing frameworks/tools to record and manage defects, and drive toward higher quality software and releases
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and other environments
•    Review, understand and contribute to Business Requirements, Functional specifications and system designs to ensure structured validation of all testable conditions
•    Recommend processes and workflow to improve quality throughout the SDLC
•    Advance testing automation and the development practices needed to support it
•    Work collaboratively and effectively with other team roles to implement effective testing efforts
•    Work independently and/or as part of project efforts, as required by work demand
•    Interact effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff


Qualifications
•    Up-to-date experience with testing frameworks, tools and methods for the Microsoft technology stack.
•    5+ years’ recent, progressive experience writing and executing complex manual and automated test scripts for large, complex software applications, for all software testing types and stages, including integration, system, functional, user-acceptance, end-to-end, data conversions, mapping, and regression testing.
•    Diverse experience with data-driven web software platform/applications with rich UI, such as CMS, e-Commerce, etc.
•    Demonstrated hands-on experience and thorough understanding of the following technologies:
      o    C#.NET code, .NET Framework and development practices
      o    Visual Studio, VSTS
      o    HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
      o    Entity Framework
      o    SQL Server, including SQL scripting, using SQL queries and testing SQL statements
      o    REST and SOAP APIs, and methods for testing these interfaces
•    Demonstrated hands-on experience and thorough understanding of the following tools:
      o    Issue Tracking systems (Atlassian product suite: JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
      o    Source control systems (Git)
      o    Test Management system(s) (ex: Xray)
      o    Test Automation Frameworks and tools (ex: Selenium) and in implementing, developing and managing automated testing processes
      o    Using and applying Continuous Integration tools in VSTS
•    Highly organized and capable of managing and monitoring several concurrent testing activities
•    Previous experience working in software teams that follow Agile methodologies
